Reasons I side with Milo Hamilton in his feud with Harry Caray

1. Milo is a better announcer (by far) than Harry was.
   
   Maybe Milo isn't great; but Harry was horrible. I could not listen to him for more than a few minutes. The worst "homer" ever, with one or two stock phrases he would repeat ad nauseum.


2. He's great at holding a grudge.
   Caray's been dead for 8 years, yet in his new book, Milo devotes an entire chapter to how nasty a person Harry Caray was. I hate it when people are automatically canonized after they die. If he was a rat when he was alive, then he is still a rat when he's dead.


3. There's no denying the fact Harry Caray was a drunken idiot.
   I don't know much about Milo, but he sounds like he's sober when I listen to him on the radio.

It's amazing to note that Skip Caray is so good; he's one of my favorite announcers, massively better than his late father, and quite a bit better than his rather vanilla-sounding son, Chip.
